Isaque — I turn chronic operational pain into product.

Senior Software Engineer based in Brazil, working remotely. I cover the full development cycle — architecture, backend, frontend, databases, infrastructure, CI/CD and observability — with a growing focus on AI Engineering.

Experience

2025 — now

Senior Software Engineer · OCTEA

Designing and building a new platform end to end: microservices in a TypeScript/Node.js monorepo, event-driven communication, authentication with MFA/SSO, observability, and fully automated deployment pipelines. AI is part of the loop — agentic development, MCP servers, agent harnesses.

2023 — 2025

Software Engineer · OCTEA

Built a self-service data import tool that zeroed 60–70 monthly support tickets — project of the year. Contributed architecture and infrastructure analyses behind company-wide modernization initiatives; mentored new developers.

2022 — 2023

Software Engineer · 4MapIT Consulting

Full-stack work on a platform serving some of the largest companies in Brazil (banking, retail, media). Took over a major client's cost-auditing engine within my first months; built an automated ingestion service cutting ~75% of manual work — project of the year.

How I think

Operational pain is a product backlog in disguise.

The recurring ticket, the manual routine, the spreadsheet everyone hates — that's where the highest-leverage engineering usually hides.

Own the whole cycle.

Code that ships without pipelines, telemetry and a rollback plan isn't done. I build systems I can deploy, observe and defend in production.

AI belongs in the engineering loop, not on top of it.

Agents that follow real guidelines, review real PRs and respect token budgets — pragmatic AI, grounded in solid fundamentals.
